About Me

Collinsville, Oklahoma, United States
Mark is a former service member. He previously served in the US Marines, US Army, and the National Guard. He always managed to pull out honorable discharges. This can be more difficult that one might think, when you are young and never really tested at home. That is, though none of us may care to admit it, sheltered from the world by mother, family and friends and then cast into this big melting pot of ours and expected to swim in the mire, then things can get a bit shady. If it turns out that you are not truly rock solid inside and out then you are going to sink deep into that big melting pot and come up smelling pretty damn bad. I'll talk about those experiences in due time. Mark

Little Olivia Grayson

Little Olivia Grayson suffers from Scoliosis. The Doctors
say her case is one in ten thousand. That's not good.
Livvie, as her siblings refer to her, is eighteen months
old. She is one of the happiest babies ever to have so
much wrong with her. Besides her spine being curved like
a half moon, there are four ribs on the left side that
lap over each other and may possibly be grown together.
This has caused the right lung not to develop properly,
restricting her breathing. Her neck is missing two verta-
bra, which will have to be replaced. At this time she is
facing many surgeries. The first, will be to remove those
four ribs and place rods on both sides of her back along
with titanium ribs. As we understand it now, this will
need to be done EVERY TWO YEARS until she quits growing.
Today, 9-11-2006, she is on her way to Shriners Hospital
in Shreveport, La. Her mon and dad, Manda and Nolan, are
with her. They all need our prayers.
